An easy way to copy these pictures onto your profile page if you are having problems with the links is to open the edit page of your profile in one window, open the link page with badges in another window, with both windows side by side, or one under the other on your monitor, simply click, hold and drag the badge to the text section of your profile.
All of the badges awarded by Answers.com are designed by the in-house Graphic Designer. The designer works with members of the Community Team to determine which badges need making. They incorporate illustrations by Leo Blanchette (creator of the Orange Guy) and use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to design each badge.
