IN THAT 1975 AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME SWANN WAS HIT WITH A CLOSE LINE BLOW BY STRONG SAFETY GEORGE ATTKINSON NOT TATUM.AFTER BEING HIT SWANN IMMIDIATELY COLLAPSED TO THE GROUND FUMBLING THE FOOTBALL WHICH WAS RECOVERED BY JACK TATUM,SWANN SUFFERED A CONCUSSION. Swann's career spanned 1974-1982. The injury described above was severe and Swann spent two days in the hospital because of it. He played in the Super Bowl two weeks later and caught 4 passes for 161 yards and a TD and was named Super Bowl MVP.
