He snatched Persephone back to the Underworld because he was lonely. So he had the aid of Zeus and Hermes to help him
hades took Persephone
Hades took Persephone to the underworld because of Persephone's beauty.
Hades took Persephone to the Underworld to be His wife. Zeus (Persephone's father) promised Persephone to Hades as his wife.
Hades was promised by Zeus that he could take Persephone as his wife. But Zeus neglected to inform Persephone or Demeter (Persephone's mother) of this. So, Hades sprang up from the earth and abducted Persephone, to take her with him back to the Underworld.
To take Persephone, daughter of Demeter and Zeus, to the Underworld as wife.
Zeus originally was the one to have given Hades his power to rule the Underworld. Some say it was a punishment, some say Hades really wanted to take up the Underworld. Also, many have told Hades trying to take over the sky and destroy Zeus.
Hades abducts Zeus and Demeter's daughter Persephone, to take her to the Underworld to be his Wife and Queen.
Hades was so feared because he is the ruler of The Underworld. If he enjoyed a soul he wanted to take, he would do it personally, Hermes would usually take the soul to the River Styx to have the soul get to the Underworld
For the dead, he established the law of judging the ghosts of the dead. For Heracles, in retrieving Cerberus from the Underworld and allowed him to take Theseus and Alcestis back to the earth with him. The deities of the Underworld, such as the Furies and the Dream gods, he was master of.
It was Hades who kidnapped Persephone. He brought her to the Underworld where she became the Queen of the Underworld. She now lives there six months a year.
when Persephone was captured by hades( god of the underworld), her mother weeps for her none stop. So she asked Zeus to get Persephone back for her, so Zeus sent Hermes to the underworld to retrieve Persephone. When he told Hades about Zeus's order, Hades then said to take her, but before she left he gave her a pomegranate to eat. He ended up tricking her because for the number of seed she ate she would stay in the underworld with Hades for that number of months and the rest of the months she would go back to her mother. That is why when Persephone is in the underworld, her mother weeps and nothing grows, but when she comes to her mother at home her mother is happy and everything is bountiful and grows. Just like winter and summer.
He vowed to get her back and in so doing, went down to the underworld. He was an excellent lyre player and was worthy of the muses. Supposedly his playing could make rocks cry (from joy, not pain!) He played his lyre for Hades and Hades was moved enough to agree to let Orpheus take his beloved Eurydice back above ground-with one little catch. Orpheus could not look back as he exited the Underworld to look at Eurydice or else she would remain forever in the Underworld. Joyfully, he led Eurydice to the entrance of the Underworld, but right before he came above ground, he looked back at Eurydice. She was forced to remain in the Underworld and Orpheus later died. (I know it had to do something with female wood-somethings attacking him, but I don't remember...)
