Henry VIII beheaded his two of six wives. Anne Boleyn and Kathryn Howard.
Anne Boleyn was his second wife. Born approx. 1501/1507.
Henry beheaded her for having other affairs. He was convinced she didn't love him.
Henry wanted a son for an heir. (Which means be on throne after Henry dies.)
She gave birth to Elizabeth I on 7 September 1533. Elizabeth was only 2 - 3 years old when Anne was beheaded. She is known to the most famous of Henry's wives.
Kathryn Howard also spelled Katherine or Katheryn born 1521 - 1542 was the fifth wife of Henry VIII. Known by his reference to her as his 'Rose Without A Throne'
Kathryn was a Religious Catholic. Also the cousin of Anne Boleyn (above) ^^^
Henry Vlll beheaded Anne Bolyn ( his 2nd wife) because she gave birth to Elizabeth the first when he wanted a son to be an heir to the thrown. He also beheaded Cathrine Howard ( his 5th wife) because she had an affair with her ex when he was away from the court.
His 2nd wife, Anne Boleyn , and his 5th wife, Catherine Howard.
To remember how he dealt with each of his wives:
divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived.
-he divorced his first wife, Catherine of Aragon
-beheaded his second wife, Anne Boleyn
-he his third wife, Jane Seymour, died after giving birth to his son
-he divorced his fourth wife, Anne of Cleves
-he beheaded his fifth wife, Catherine Howard
-his sixth wife, Catherine Parr, survived him
He also had some political oponents beheaded, but I'm not sure who.
I guess the question has two answers. He executed subjects. Henry also executed two Queens, Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard.
Henry VIII didn't physically behead anyone himself; others did it.
he wouldn't accept henry as the head of the church Abbie ;)
Not being obeyed and losing; when he grew up he began to cheat at games.
The king of England. The King of England made people behead Henry. Unless he was out of the country in a month.
Two of them: Anne Boleyn and Katharine Howard.
he thought they were having affair with other men
No, he wasn't. Execution by decapitation has been used since ancient times.
Henry VIII wasn't very popular because he beheaded people and had 6 wives and because they didn't have a baby boy he either divorced behead them
i know that henry brought in a swordsman from either Spain or France to do Anne, but i have no idea whether it was axe or sword for Katharine Howard
Henry VIII beheaded Catherine Howard because two years after their marriage he was tried fro treason (disloyal to the king/queen) and was beheaded.
Technically he didn't do it himself but heres when she got beheaded any way: Anne Boleyn was beheaded on May 19, 1536
Anne Boleyn, she was accused of having 3 affairs, one with her brother :S and Katherine Howard was also behaeaded, she actually did have an affair.
