William Dawes and Samuel Prescott
Historians are unsure of where Revere started; when detained by the British, he was on his way to Lexington and Concord.

Paul Revere
Yes he did after being caught by British soldiers after warning Lexington of the coming soldiers. A British Patrol caught him on the way to concord
Revere was on the road to Lexington/Concord when he was stopped by a British patrol. He was enroute to warn Sam Adams and others that the British had landed in Charlestown and were enroute to collect/find any guns or powder. Since he was on the road after curfew he was stopped and arrested. As this was going on Prescott and Dawes came by, saw what was happening and kept going to Concord.
Paul Revere first crossed the Charles River by boat to land in Charleston and ride to Lexington, where he could warn citizens that the British were coming. Revere then rode to Concord, warning all citizens along the way.
While on his way to warn Lexington and Concord of the British troops that were on their way to both seize patriot munition stores and arrest John Hancock and Samuel Adams, Revere was stopped by British Officers and held for the night. The next morning, he talked them into letting him go.
