He-who-must-not-be-named, or simply Voldemort, in the 7th book
ACTUALLY IT SAYS: "The one with the power to vanquish the dark lord approaches. And the dark lord will mark him as his equal, for the one will have powers that he does not. For neither shall live while the other survives." that it was that voldemort was not to kill harry in the first movie but he will have the chance to kill harry, in the 7th movie harry and voldemort dies, but comes back to live again because of a spell or his own powers the prophecy was "neither lives while the other survives "
If you don't want to read the book and you're desperate for the answer, then here.Yes, Harry does kill Voldemort in the 7th book! He kills him at Hogwarts during thefinal battle.
Read the books or if you're illiterate wait for the last films to come out.
Because of Harry's connection with Voldemort he , Harry, had a better sence of strategy, however with Bellatrix Harry had no connection and therefore had no protection. The only reason Voldemort couldn't kill Harry was because Harry was the 7th Horecrux and when this happens in the 7th book Voldemort faints along with Harry to prove this fact. SLS
voldemort has a couple horcruxes in harry potter. when you kill a person your soul splits. when your soul splits you can hide that part of the soul in an object. voldemort had 7 horcruxes. when all the horcruxes are destroyed, voldemort dies. [hint, hint if you haven' t read the 7th book]
because the Elder wand can be forced to kill its owner like another wand could be forced to kill its owner. but voldemort did not kill harry with the wand he just killed a part of his own soul because harry didnt try to defend himself.
no. in the 6th snape kills dumbledore. in the 7th, voldemort kills snape and harry kills voldemort
Lord Voldemort dies in the 7th book, but not Harry Potter.
The story of the deathly hallows explains the beginning of how death was overcome by the third brother. Since Harry is a descendent of the third brother and receives the Invisibility Cloak, he now has one part of the hallows in his possession. During the 7th book, Harry struggles to decide whether he should go after the hallows or the horcruxes. He ultimately goes after the horcruxes but simutaneously ends up with the three hallows in the end of the book. This means he has become the master of death. Death was also "cheated" when Voldemort and Harry meet in the Forbidden Forest and Voldemort "kills" Harry, in turn killing the part of Voldemort himself, in Harry. Meaning Harry is fully himself without the channel into Voldemort's head he has had to bear through his whole life since the time he was supposed to be killed by Voldemort about 16 years from that time. Also, the last duel for Voldemort and Harry in the end of the 7th book is an example of death being cheated because they duelled to kill. Finally, after Harry upstages Voldemort in everyway possible, they cast their spells and since the Elder Wand truly belongs to Harry and it cannot kill its master, it backfires the spell(Avada Kedavra) onto Voldemort himself. Meaning it was Voldemort's own hand who killed himself when all his life he had tried to find a way to live immortally.
He doesn't try to kill himself, he decides to sacrifice himself to save others. In doing so, he gave himself, and all his friends, the ultimate protection, the same protection his mother had given him when she tried to save him from Voldemort.
