What is Newton's color wheel?

It is a disc that is divided into coloured segments. It can have three segments, each shaded with one of the primary colours red, green and blue, or it can be divided into seven segments shaded with the colours of the rainbow; red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. When you spin the disc rapidly the colours merge to give the appearance of white light. It shows that what we see as white is in fact a combination of all colours.

What did people in surrealism use to do the art?

The Impressionists found that they could capture the momentary and transient effects of sunlight by painting oudoors. Painting realistic scenes of modern life, they portrayed overall visual effects instead of details. They used short "broken" brush strokes of mixed and pure unmixed colour, not smoothly blended or shaded, as was customary, in order to achieve the effect of intense colour vibration.

Is there a black president on the two dollar bill?

There is no black man on the 2 dollar bill. John Hanson, The first President of The Continental Congress of America, was not black. He was WHITE and had English ancestry. The black John Hanson was the Liberian Senator almost 100 years later. The claim the first president was black is simply false. The picture depicted on the back of the 2 dollar bill has no black men on it. The gentleman seated often mistaken for a black man is John Morris, a key signer of the Declaration of Independence. An urban legend has grown up about a black person being depicted on the back of the US $2 bill. One of the signers was John Hanson, who according to some reports was of mixed ancestry but was of European descent. The legend is abetted by the fact that part of the original painting is shaded. As a result the engraving has heavier ink in that section which gives one of the signers a slightly African-American appearance.

Why does a presidential candidate who holds extremely liberal or conservative views have a difficult time getting elected?

As I understand your question you would like to know "Why would a Presidential candidate with extreme liberal or conservative views have a difficult time getting elected?" A President who is extreme to one side or the other is only going to draw people from that extreme. By being more moderate a president can appeal to his extreme base as well as some of the independents or possibly some people of the opposing party which garners him more votes than someone who only appeals to one extreme or the other. A diagram might help. ~ ________________________________________ -----------------|------------------------ |-------------------- Left----------------Independent---------------------Right So if a president is solidly left he'll get the shaded region below. (The x's) ~ xxxxxxxxxxxx______________________________ -----------------|------------------------ |-------------------- Left----------------Independent---------------------Right ~ While a more moderate leftist president might get the following shaded region of votes. ~ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx______________________ -----------------|------------------------ |-------------------- Left----------------Independent---------------------Right The same applies to the other side as well so that is why we end up with more moderate presidents and why extremists have a hard time getting elected. This is a very simplified version so feel free to ask follow up questions.
