In the 75th Hunger Games, there is no victor since the arena was "destroyed" by Katniss when she shot an arrow through a force field. However, the people who died:
District 1
Gloss - kills Wiress. killed by Katniss after the Careers ambush the rebel group.
Cashmere - Gloss' sister. Killed by Johanna using an axe.
District 2
Brutus - tall man, possibly killed in final moments of Quarter Quell, although no one knows if he survived or not.
District 3
Wiress - batty lady who is first to realise the Arena is a clock. Is killed by Gloss.
District 4
Mags - eighty-year old, Finnick's mentor. Can make a fishhook out of anything. Volunteers instead of Annie. Kills herself in the poisonous fog to let Finnick escape.
District 5
Man- killed first day by Finnick with his trident
District 6
The Morphlings - old victors that have turned to drugs to try and forget about the Games. Both found fo Peeta and painting. The male is killed on the first day, the female is killed by monkeys when she throws herself in front of Peeta. (As Six is where Medical Research takes place, makes sense that they are drug addicts - easy to get)
District 7
Blight - male tribute for District Seven. Killed early on; blinded by Blood Rain then killed by a force field. Referenced in a conversation between Finneck and Johanna.
District 8
Cecelia - has three children. Dies on the first day.
Woof - very old man who doesn't seem to know what's going on. Dies on the first day, in the Bloodbath.
District 9
Both die first day in bloodbath
District 10
Woman- in bloodbath
District 11
Seeder - kindly, life-hardened old woman. Kind to Katniss for what she did for Rue. Killed on first day.
Chaff - Like Haymitch, has turned to drink to survive. Kisses Katniss for her deeds in the Arena (much to Katniss' dismay and Peeta' amusement). Fate unknown - possibly killed on the second day.
District 12
Peeta- gets shocked by forcefield first day then is brought back to life by Finnick
In "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins, the character that dies in the first book is the young girl from District 11, Rue. She is killed by another tribute, Marvel, during the games. Rue's death has a significant impact on the protagonist, Katniss Everdeen.

In the third book, the hippogriff, Buckbeak, dies, but Harry and Hermione go back in time and save him from execution. In the fourth book, Cedric Diggory dies. In the fifth book, Sirius dies.
