copper turns to blue-green copper oxide.
Copper doesn't rust
Lead oxidizes.noNope, cant rust as lead like copper /brass /bronze /muntz metals are non ferrous thus NO rusting is possible
NO!!! Because they are made of copper NOT iron.
by me
because the pot is copper the rust on it can get absorbed by the fruit which then makes it bad to eat and you could get samonela or food poisening
Copper doesn't rust
In recent years pennies have been made of steel plated in copper, and steel is prone to rust. Older pennies were made of pure copper, or copper and zinc, which did not rust.
Plastic pipe does not rust, brass does not rust, copper does not rust. Stainless steel does not rust, lead pipe does not rust.
It's probably oxidation, not rust.
iron will rust faster because the hydrogen molecules combine with metalic molecules in the iron faster which causes the chemical reaction process to speed up sincerly, Jake from AZ 7th grade student
i dont know of an experiment to test this but copper will not rust, and bronze being comprised of tin and copper, the answer to which will rust fastest is steel. I hope this helps you.
Most likely some other object has dripped rust onto the copper, which can be removed. Copper does not rust, but it does form a green patina over time.
