Mass is a fundamental concept in physics, roughly corresponding to the intuitive idea of how much matter there is in an object. Mass is a central concept of classical mechanics and related subjects, and there are several definitions of mass within the framework of relativistic kinematics (see mass in special relativity and mass in General Relativity). In the theory of relativity, the quantity invariant mass, which in concept is close to the classical idea of mass, does not vary between single observers in different reference frames.
In everyday usage, mass is more commonly referred to as weight, but in physics and engineering, weight means the strength of the gravitational pull on the object; that is, how heavy it is, measured in units of force. In everyday situations, the weight of an object is proportional to its mass, which usually makes it unproblematic to use the same word for both concepts. However, the distinction between mass and weight becomes important for measurements with a precision better than a few percent (due to slight differences in the strength of the Earth's gravitational field at different places), and for places far from the surface of the Earth, such as in space or on other planets.
Antoine Lavoisier - developed the Law of Conservation of Mass.
Sorry no where does it inidcate who discovered the term "mass".
Hope my info helps
theirs 2 answers to this, Einstein is 1 with E=MC(2) this shows that mass and energy in interconverable, which also means that the law of conservation of energy applies which is the first law of termodynamics
it is very difficult to say as those are the most basic things in everyday physics. however about 2000 years ago the Greeks started using them. therefore, although nobody knows who discovered them but the Greeks are the ones who first used them, perhaps it is proper to say that they also discovered them? wish this helps you
Pioneers in the field of atomic weights of chemical elements were John Dalton and Jons Jakob Berzelius.

This is not a discovery.
Mendeleev arranged elements in order of increasing mass. Later modern periodic table was discovered that contains elements arranged by atomic number.
Not all of the element have been discovered yet , but so far the element with the greatest atomic mass is 112 Uub.
The chemical name for Ge is Germanium, It was discovered by Mendleev. Its atomic no. is 32 and atomic mass no. is 72.6.
an electrical neutral particle from the atomic nucleus
Isotopes were not invented - they exist in nature. They were discovered when the atomic mass of Chlorine was measured at 35.5

Cerium was discovered in 1803 Cerium--- Ce atomic number--- 58 atomic mass--- 140.116 # of protons--=58 # of neutrons--- 82 # of electrons---58

Compared to Mendeleev's periodic table which was arranged my atomic mass, Moseley's was, however, arranged by atomic number.

Atomic no.=no. of protons Atomic mass=no. of protons+no. of neutrons Hence, atomic mass is greater
The atomic mass is the mass of a molecule, atomic particle or sub-atomic particle.
