Edward Jenner created the first vaccine to be widely used in 1796; others had done the same before him, but their discoveries were not well-known. Jenner found that milkmaids infected with cowpox did not get smallpox. He tested this theory on a young boy, first exposing him to cowpox, then smallpox. The boy did not develop smallpox, and Jenner's work was published widely.
technically it was Edward Jenner who discovered the vaccine for smallpox by giving a young boy called James Phipps a small dose of cowpox and then when he had recovered from this he injected him with a tiny amount of smallpox. James was not effected because he had become immunised. However this was a freak coincidence as smallpox and cowpox are one of the only diseases that can be immunised against by injecting yourself with cowpox

Density. Its considered a physical property because of the amount of mass/volume. Its an intensive physical property because you can measure density of solution without changing its chemical identify, it observable. ... Because a material that expands takes up a larger volume and it density decreases.Dec 10, 2014
