Earth supports life, because it has oxygen.
The most important gas is oxygen
I think a pretty common use of oxygen, is breathing.
Water
because oxygen has been around for as long as there was sea life and when the first one came out of the sea they technically discovered oxygen
Joseph Priestley discovered oxygen in 1774.
Joseph Priestley
Oxygen is 20% of what is in the air. When you light a candle in a bit of water, then put a measuring cylinder over it, water is sucked up 20% of the cylinder, before going out. This shows that oxygen supports burning. Without oxygen the candle goes out.
it's the physical and chemical characteristics of oxygen!
Oxygen is the gas needed to make fire. It supports the combustion process by reacting with the fuel to produce heat and light.
