Why didn't galen dissect human bodies?
Galen's careful dissection on pigs, dogs and apes meant he discovered lots of new information about anatomy. He dissected some humans but usually had to make do with animals because the Roman traditions and religion were against human dissection. As a result, he had to base his theories about humans on his animal experiments which meant he made mistakes. Some of Galens wrong theories were: 1. The human jaw is made up of two separate bones (it is actually made of one bone). 2. The heart is divided into two parts, each carrying two separate lots around the body. 3. The liver makes up new blood from food.

In addition Vesalius was asked to carry out a dissection in Bologna, and he broke the rules.He ignored the professors and the old men, he began a lecture of his own and invited students to gather around to see and even touch when they were not supposed to. Vesalius then brought a skeleton into the lecture room, he showed his students how muscles move the bones and so on, however the professor disagreed with him and said that these are not the opinions of Galen. Even Vesalius's old teacher, gunter von andernacht was against Vesalius and wrote the he should be punished by the emperor for the terrible things he was saying however Vesalius won! The emperor ignored Andernacht and appointed Vesalius as his physician.

At the start of the game, you won't have a fishing rod, but there is a way to get it.On a sunny Day, between 20'clock to 40'clock, go into Galen's house. (Bear in mind, Nina must be in there, because she is included in the event) Go inside once you have met the requirments, and you will trigger the event. Galens house is the one in the middle of the crops!Please also bear in mind you MUST have an empty free slot in your inventory, otherwise you will miss the event.
