What Happens when you look in the mirror?

when you look at the mirror it breaks

Do you look the same as in a mirror?

yes the mirror is an exact reflection you when you look into it

For instance when someone looks in the mirror do they look the same as they do to others or is their image flipped or naturally altered by the eyes?

When someone looks in the mirror they do not see themselves as others do. Every person has a different perception of how people look. When you look in the mirror, you see your left eye on the left but when other people look at you, they see your left eye on their right so yes, the image is somewhat flipped.

Why objects in a mirror appear backward?

Things in a mirror are not actually backward. The fact that your brain processes things as "backward" is a trick your brain plays on itself, because it thinks that the only way you could possibly be seeing the backside of an object is if you were standing inside the mirror looking out. But in reality, you see what you see only from where you are, and nowhere else... even the things you see in the mirror. In reality, things in a mirror are reflected directly back to you, so that something that's on your left also appears on your left in the mirror. It's not backward: rather, it's exactly the way it would appear to you if you could see the backside of the object you're looking at, but without turning yourself or the object around in order to see it. How could you do that? Well, try imagining what the backside of the object would look like from where you're standing, if you could see through the object like it was semi-transparent. It would look exactly the way it looks in the mirror!Another way to think of this is: the reason things (particularly words) look backward in a mirror, is quite simply because they have to be turned around backward (relative to where you're seeing them from) in order for the mirror to reflect them to you!To convince yourself of this, do a very simple experiment with an object you can actually see through: Get a translucent plastic grocery bag with writing on it. Either fold or cut the bag so that by turning it over, you can see either the outside or the inside of the printed part of the bag, depending which way you have it turned. Now, in front of a mirror, hold the bag up facing you, so that you can read the words on the outside of the bag normally. Look in the mirror without moving the bag. You can read the words in the mirror, too!Next, turn the bag around, as though you are "showing" the outside of the bag to the mirror. When you look in the mirror, of course the words look backward, just like you expect. But now, without moving the bag, look at the bag itself. The words on the bag appear backward to you, too, exactly like they do in the mirror! They look backward literally because you turned the bag around backward. And in this case, you actually can see through the bag, to see what the bag looks like from where you're standing when you have it turned around.

When you look in the mirror Is that what you really look like because I look different in the mirror then pics?

Yes, but you are only really seeing yourself from one angle, and you are looking directly into your eye. You are also seeing a mirror image of yourself, in a picture the image would be reversed. Try facing slightly away from the mirror, and looking slightly away, just look at yourself through the corner of your eye. Alternatively, get hold of a second mirror and see yourself from other angles.

Why do i look different in a mirror from in a photo?

Is each side of your face different?

Yes, there are slight differences particular to each side of your face. To highlight just how different each side of you face is, take a small flat mirror, hold it against half of your face an look into another mirror, you will see one half of your face reflected to form a whole face, you will look really strange.

Why on mirror letters look different?

Plane mirrors(regular mirrors in households) laterally invert an object's image; letters are also laterally inverted and so they look different while seen in a mirror.

What happens when a fun house mirror makes you look skinny?

the light is reflected back at different angles because the mirror is curved

What Happens when you look in the mirror?

when you look at the mirror it breaks

When light hits a mirror does it bounce regularly?

It depends on the shape of mirror. If the mirror is straight and not curved, light bounces back in a manner. If it is curved, the reflected image will look different.

Do you look 4 times better when you look in the mirror?

No. You look exactly as you are when you look in the mirror. The mirror is a reflection on how you look. You do not look better or worse than when you look in a mirror. A mirror is a flat surface, and you have curves, so the mirror will not reflect your curves, but, unless it's a "fun house" mirror which is designed to distort how you look, almost all ordinary mirrors reflect exactly how you look. No better, and no worse.

How do you change a wing mirror on a vauxhall Astra?

Changing the mirrors is not a hard process but has a few steps. The first is to take off the side panel. Then look for the bolts that hold the mirror in place and remove them. Then replace the mirror and then the door panel.
