Graceland
People called Elvis Presley, "The King", "The King of Rock n' Roll", and "Elvis the Pelvis."
He was called the King Of Rock And Roll because he essentiqlly created the genre with his music in 1956 and dominated the charts and music scene up until he was drafted in the army
Elvis appeared in three westerns: LOVE ME TENDER FLAMING STAR CHARRO He also made "STAY AWAY JOE", which you could call a 'modern western'. Cheers..........Mel.
Elvis
I would say that Elvis' contributions to music nearly provided the definition of what we call Rock and Roll. He was one of the original rock and rollers. Basically, he took blues chord progressions, took out the soul, added some country twang, and sped it up a little.

Dwight Yoakam sang Cattle Call in his CD, 'In Others' Words'. I Personally prefer Dwight's version, but Eddy's is really good too.
