Yes. The Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass is its sequel. TLoZ Spirit Tracks is also supposedly going to be a sequel to Phantom Hourglass, but that won't be released until later.

Why is Legend of Zelda considered to be an RPG?
Well, the answer to this question is rather simple: It just is. Game play is fun, the story-lines are memorable, and the music is great! Thank you Kondo-sama for creating such wonderful music!I think that that's exactly right. It depends on where you want to start, like what is so awesome? the music? the storyline? the game play? all of the above? I know it's awesome, and I think that it's storyline from humble beginnings on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) has really exploded out into the open. It can go anywhere from here, but as long as they don't make the game "Link and Zelda Meet the TelliTubbies" then it's all great, as far as I'm concerned.Alternate Opinion:The Legend of Zelda is EPIC. It started dungeon-crawling and basically spawned all RPGS. Plus they put so much time into it.
