If you think you have the Swine Flu, in the US, you need not report it to anyone. They are no longer attempting to count the number of cases now that the pandemic is over. Since the treatment for the seasonal flu is the same as the treatment for swine flu, there would be no change in treatment anyway and you can treat the symptoms as you would with any type of flu. If your symptoms are unusually bad (see more in questions below) or last longer than usual (e.g. more than two weeks), you should notify your primary health care professional.
