I think it could be arya
A lot of people think it will be either Roran or Arya. I believe that Arya is too obvious and that CP has other plans for Roran. I do think it will be an elf. All the riders are now human and that is going against tradition. After Eldest I kept thinking it would be Vanir, but he wasn't even really mentioned in Brisingr. I can't help but to wonder about Blödhgarm. He seemed like a very strong person and was in the background the entire time throughout Briningr.
its not really going against tradition because even if eragon is half elf now he was still human when saphira pick him plus brom was a human and murtagh and morzan and even galbatorix. i agree it wont be roran but i still think it might be arya but i think roran is sort of out of the picture because he wants to go home to carvahal and be with Katrina and raise their child.i agree that it will be an elf also because it is said it will be a green dragon and most elfs have green magic like eragon has blue and saphira is a blue dragon.but maybe when roran is finally able to use magic it will be green and than he could be the next dragon rider but i still doubt it
