Wrong. Ford is a technical partner with Mazda, they own some of each other's stock, and share various platforms. Many Ford and Mazda vehicles are mechanically similar and share mechanicals and bodies. Ford no longer owns Jaguar, Volvo, Aston Martin, or Land Rover, these were all sold years ago. Jaguar and Land Rover are owned by Tata Motors, Volvo is owned by Geely. Ford retains a part-ownership in Aston Martin but the majority is owed by a consortium of middle eastern investors.
