Chiang Kai-shek .
Taiwan.
No ! Taiwan is very capitalist. Mainland China (The People's Republic of China is Communist-led.
Because, the Qing Dynasty is the last Dynasty. It lasted for a while however, the rebelions overthrew it. After Qing Dynasty, it became the Empire of China. During world war 2, The communist and GM party had a civil war. The GM party lost bad, and they escaped to Taiwan and renamed the "Province" into a "Country Name". "Taiwan" was named "Republic of China" after the GM party landed there. Since the communist was in China, they called it "People's Republic of China" which I don't get why the name was to put "People's Republic"(People in China does not have enough Freedom). After the World War 2. The Japenese retreated their armies both from China and Taiwan. However both parties begin to have war. The Americans knew that China and Taiwan are having a war. So the Americans decided to help Taiwan, Korea to fight the communist. After, the Communist lost and Taiwan was known to be the only "China". After this the history has been changed or have been told differently. Since the Communist does not want their people to know the past. Note: Histories has became Political after the Qing Dynasty. NOte2: the Chin Dynasty Queen was a total **** to the citizens in China. That is why there was a rebellion army against her.
To be precise, the democratic government, as Republic of China(Taiwan) is defeated by the communist government as People's Republic Of China(China), so the democratic government escape to Taiwan, and the communist government create a new country in China -- People's Republic Of China. This word might be a little touchy, but this is the truth.
The Republic of China is Taiwan or Formosa. It is the part of China that is not Communist.
Simply stated, China is also known as Communist ; Taiwan is known as Nationalist
Taiwan is an island which has a different government than the Chinese mainland because the losing non-communist forces during the Chinese civil war fled to Taiwan leaving the communists to take over the mainland. The official title of Taiwan is the 'Republic of China'
The Communist Chinese own and occupy Taiwan. ___ No that is incorrect. The Communist Chinese DO NOT occupy Taiwan. Taiwan is called the Republic of China, a separate country from the People's Republic of China. At the end of the Chinese Revolution, Chaing Kai-Shek and the Kuomintang fled China and set up government in Taiwan. The existence of the Republic of China has been a contentious issue between Taiwan and mainland China.
There's probably still two Chinas: Communist China on the mainland; and Taiwan (Nationalist China). Communist soldiers/marines/airmen/and sailors live in and serve the nation of Red China. Non-communist Chinese servicemen live in Taiwan and serve the country of Taiwan (if Nationalist China still goes by that title).
they escaped to Taiwan.( well most of them)
Taipei is a city, not a country. It is the capital of the country known as Taiwan or the Republic of China. This is different to the People's Republic of China, that most people think of as being China. It claims Taiwan, but Taiwan is independent. It is a constitutional republic and people can vote, so it is democratic. It is not communist.
All of these three countries, China, Vietnam, and North Korea are COMMUNIST STATES. However, China and Vietnam are properly classified as Leninist Communist States whereas North Korea is a Dynastic Communist State.
