ME!!!
It would be nice if people would be serious about answering questions. Children of all ages come here to get help with homework and could use the CORRECT ANSWER which is:
James Watson and Francis Crick in 1953.
Sorry but your wrong.
The real answer is not Wotson and Crick but is really Rosalind Franklin back in 1898.
If I were you I would look in the textbook because this is confusing children who look for the correct answer but get stuck in a situation where there are two different answers, I wouldn't turn to the internet for help if I were you. You're smart. All you need to do is think.
Now I sound like a motivational speaker.. :/
~Soon to be motivational speaker :P
Nitrogen bases in DNA
Its composition and physical structure - this is determined by the DNA/RNA that coded for it.
Strand displacement replication is not a likely method of DNA replication because it involves the formation of multiple replication forks which is not supported by the structure of DNA, which consists of two antiparallel strands.
Non-conservative replication is not a likely method of DNA replication as determined by the structure of DNA. This method would involve the complete replacement of both strands in each daughter DNA molecule and is not supported by the semi-conservative model proposed by Watson and Crick.
The first protein structure to be determined was myoglobin, in 1958. Myoglobin is a heme-containing protein found in muscle cells which stores oxygen. Its structure was determined by John Kendrew and colleagues using X-ray crystallography.

The discovery of the structure of DNA was a culmative effort. After the discovery that the genes were paired, Watson and Crick suggested the first accurate model of DNA structure in the journal of Nature.
