The Hunger Games are trilogy of novels that take place in a post-apocalyptic North America by Suzanne Collins. Also in these novels there is a event in which 24 tributes from 13 districts ( 2 from each district) battle to the death until one remains. it is about a girl named katniss from the seam (district 12) and ever year they hold a Hunger Games to basically tell/show the districts that they can have you killed in a snap of a finger and that scares them so they wont rebel.and katniss voulinteers herself because her sister is choosen at the reaping so she goes to the hunger games and the boy tribute (peeta) is "in love" with katniss so they are the star crossed lovers and so they enter the hunger games and peeta is with the carrers the people who wanted to enter The Hunger Games and he does that to stay alive andthen the game makers announce that 2 tributes can win if they are from the same district and so katniss and peeta team up/ form an ally so then there are only 6 people left so then they announce there is a feast and there a back packs and before katniss found peeta he was wounded by a carrer and he needed medicine so peeta told her not to risk her life for him so she gave him sleeping syrup and then she went to the feast and almost killed by clove (carrer) and then thresh kills clove and spares katnisses life because she was rues ally at first before killed by district 1 boy marvel and then she goes back to peeta and heals him then when he is healed they go to the cornucopia and wait for cato and then he comes running and there are wolf muttations and then they almost die then they end up killing cato and so katniss and peeta win the hunger games? no! wrong then the game makers announce that the rules are change and katniss and peeta have to fight to the death and so they try to commit suicide and the the game makers announces the winners of the 74th hunger games! Peeta Mellark and Katniss Everdeen the girl that was on fire!
