it depends, no one likes to be shouted at or have someone get angry at them whether they are at fault or not. sometimes its perfectly reasonable to get angry and it would be odd if one didn't. however, to lose your temper with someone you are arguing with effectively means you have lost the argument. by losing your temper your are effectively admitting you cannot stay calm and discuss the topic in a calm and reasonable way. it also says that you have gotten angry because you know you have lost. conversely if someone gets angry with me because they have lost the argument and lost control of themselves, it does not and should not affect me in anyway. it is all on the other person. but if it was my parents when i was young, a teacher at a school, my girlfriend or my boss or someone i respect then it is going to bother me for sure.
