Right now the Gulf of Mexico (Gulfo de México) is the worlds largest oil spill because of a big oil ship exploding from high pressure. The ship dumped tons of oil into the ocean killing all the marine life and putting lots of animals in care units. The oil killed lots of birds who depended on the fish in the ocean, but when the oil spill happened the oil was carried through the fishes bodies. Thus when the birds like pelicans and seagulls ate them, they immediately got poisoned from the oil inside the fish.
Mostly it affected fisherman because after eating the sea food they got sick but it not only affected them but us because some people eat sea food others sea food is probably the only thing they have to eat. So you should think about how the oil spill affect sea life, fisherman, and ourselves.
