No way can anyone tell you how to do this here in this space. It requires removing the intake and exhaust manifolds, and then removing the head. A very complicated job that requires skill, knowledge, and the proper tools. Buy a repair manual if you want to tackle this job.
hunting whales
Removing the head(s) and having the heads reconditioned, installing the rebuilt heads with new gaskets.
yes they do, good job!
its recommended you replace the gasket when the head is removed, but if you don't and it does go wrong after refitting you will be doing the job twice for the sake of a few quid, also you should replace the timing belt when refitting,
can you change the injector tubes and seals without removing the cylinder head on a 1.7 cdti Vauxhall combi and is it much of a job
Replacing ANY head gasket is a labor intensive job. It involves removing many bolts and connections and then re installing them with the proper amount of torque. You will also have to drain, flush and refill the coolant system. It is NOT a job for a novice. I recommend taking it to a certified shop or dealer.
not to be offensive or anything like that. But, if you are asking this question here you are in way over your head. I strongly urge you to have this job done by an experienced technician. The job is not too difficult but you are getting into removing the cylinder heads, replacing head bolts, torque sequence must be followed, cam shaft timing is critical, if you do not have a manual please do not attempt this job yourself. Bring it to me all messed up after you have attempted to do the job yourself and I would charge you double the rate to fix it.
I am whale hunter and I know that I have been hunting whales for 59 years and am proud to be a whale hunter it is the best job ever
It blows.
Job shaved his head as a sign of mourning after hearing about the loss of his property, children, and health in Job 1:20-21.
