There are many, many religious orders founded by a variety of saints. Here are a few:Francis of Assisi - Friars minor which later became known as the Franciscans. Dominic de Guzman - Order of Preachers now called the Dominicans. Ignatius Loyola - Was a founder of the Society of Jesus, now called the Jesuits. Benedict of Nursia - founded an order of monks now called the Benedictines. John Bosco - founded an order called the Salasians many, many others.
