Yes
The exact year the truss bridge was invented is not known. Early forms of truss bridges were seen as earl as 1820 and iron truss bridges did not appear until 1850.
Caleb and Thomas Pratt invented the truss bridge in 1844. Some of the materials that have been used in truss bridges are timber, steel, reinforced concrete, and iron.

It uses a K-truss style that is rarely used outside of the Great Plains.

A Serrurier truss is used in the assembly of telescopes. It was named after the person who invented it. This tuss allows for the attachment of two mirrors. It allow for tension on the two trusses. This was invented by an engineer in 1936.

Technically speaking, its not that smart of a question as the vairables and conditions have to be applied first before just simply asking. But, the K-truss is a strong and firm design when compared to other designs. Though it takes some more materials, its design causes less stress on its parts and thus can hold a lot. Works better when force is applied on top of the truss.
As far as i can tell there are 27 different types of truss bridges (i.e. Brown truss, Bowstring truss, Kingpost truss, Long truss, and Pratt truss). Hope this helps :D
