The first Indian to be honored by the Royal Society in the field of science was Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose. He was recognized for his pioneering work in plant physiology and inventing the Crescograph, a device that measured plant growth and response to stimuli. Bose was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1920.
Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose was Born in the year 1858,on 30th November in a well known bengali family .He completed his graduation from St Xavier's college in calcutta then he was sent to Cambridge for his further studiesWhere he received honours in 1896.He was a professor of physical science at the presidency college in calcutta from 1885-1915.He made great contributions to Physical Sciences by his works on electrical radiations and by verifying the laws of reflections and polarization. He invented experimental methods and invented many delicate instruments such as CRESCOGRAPH for recording plant growth, magnifying a small movement 10,000,000 times. He had made a lot many other such contributions. He had anticipated in his method of micromove generation, the modern wave guides;and some of his appliances resembled those employed by the early phases of radar development.
The CD was invented in 2001 Thomas clamps invented it.
invented in 500BC before electricity was invented
Gloria Mejia invented it and she invented it in 1998
