Edwin hubble
Although Edwin Hubble was one of the great astro-physicists of the 1900s, he did not invent the motion picture.
The technology to record motion with film was independently achieved by Louis LePrince in 1888, William Friese-Greene in 1889, W. Dickson (working under Thomas Edison, who contributed nothing to Dickson's work beyond a place and funding to do so) in 1891, and the Lumiere Brothers in 1893. Edison might well have been the only one who saw the commercial value of this technology.

No one, and no one ever will, since perpetual motion machines are a scientific impossibility.
Energy is required by every machine to stay in motion. Lubricating the machine properly is added as an advantage.
