Absorbing Man is a villain in Marvel comics. Carl "Crusher" Creel is a criminal who was given the power to absorb anything he physically touches. He was given this power by Loki so he could beat Thor. During the first "Secret War" he met the second Titania and fell in love with her. They became partners and were married. He was thought to have died at the hands of Sentry but was seen at Stilt-Man's funeral.
