∙ 13y agoThe Duggar family is a family of 19 kids that lives in Arkansas and is on the TLC reality show "19 Kids and Counting."
The parents are Michelle and Jim Bob, the children names all begin with the letter J: Josh, Jana and John-David (twins), Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy-anna, Jedidiah, Jeremiah, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johannah, Jennifer, Jordyn- Grace and Josie. Josh is married to Anna Keller and they have a child together.
They live for the Lord and leave the decision to have more children up to him. They live in modesty, the boys wear long pants and a polo top or shirt, their hair is gelled down, the girls wear skirts, below the knee and shirts and blouses that are covering the shoulder and do not have protruding neck lines and their hair is generally long and pulled back out of their faces.
They have no debt at all they buy used clothes, shoes, cars everything and buy their food at Aldi. They make their own baby wipes and soap among other things. They grow their own fruits and vegetables.
All of the children are homeschooled by Michelle. Josh, Jana, John, Jill, Jessa and Jinger have all finished school and so Josh and John work away from home, and the girls help with the chores around the house. Jill makes lunch and Jana makes dinner every day.
Among other things they all have their jobs that they have to do on a daily basis. in public and for chores they use the buddy system in which the girls have a number of younger ones in which they are their to help them with what ever they need help with, when Michelle or Jim Bob are busy helping someone else.
They built their 7,000 square foot home on their own with little help from others. Having four bedrooms one for the parents, the girls, the boys and one for Grandma and Grandpa.
I say that they are the most wonderful family out there they think of everyone but themselves and should be commended for everything they do.
