Andre Montgomery is an American born Athlete who excelled in Basketball Americana. Andre grew up in Akron,OH and also split time in Memphis, TN where is still holds numerous records in TSSAA. Andre played College Basketball at Belmont University in Nashville, Tn and is currently 3rd All-Time in the Atlantic Sun conference in scoring. While At Belmont Andre led the Bruins to their first NCAA tournament berth and also followed with two more apperances in the tournament before his time at Belmont was done. Andre Montgomery career average as a Bruin was 22 points per game. While many scouting services projected Andre to be drafted in the first round of the NBA draft he opted to accept an offer to play professional in Madrid, Spain for DKV Juventut. Before the season begain Andre decided not to join the team for undisclosed reasons. When questioned about his sons decision Maurice Montgomery simply stated that "Andre had a change of heart" and declined further comment.
