we do not have presidents we have political parties who governs the island along with the governeur. mr Nelson Oduber is the prime minister.

He was appointed by Queen Beatrix Wilhelmina Armgard [b. 31 January 1938] of the Kingdom of the Netherlands on May 1, 2004. A governor's term is for six years and can be extended for one more term of six years. He's the third Governor of Aruba.

Aruba doesn't have a mayor. It has a prime-minister, along with ministers and 21 members of the parliament. It also has a governor, it's primary task is serving as the representative of the Queen of the Netherlands.

Peter de Witte formally became Aruba's Police Chief [Hefe di Polis] effective January 1, 2007. He started working as Police Chief on November 1, 2006. He replaced Ronny Bernadina in the position. Peter de Witte's previous job was Acting Director of the Coast Guard of the Netherland Antilles & Aruba [Kustwacht voor de Nederlandse Antilen & Aruba KWNA&A].

Michiel ['Mike'] Godfried Eman [b. September 1, 1961] is the current and Fifth Prime Minister of Aruba. In the general elections on September 25, 2009, Eman's party, the Aruban People's Party [Arubaanse Volkspartij/Partido di Pueblo Arubano][AVP], won 48 percent of the vote. Eman took office on October 30, 2009. His brother, Jan ['Henny'] Hendrik Albert Eman [b. March 20, 1948], was the First and Third Prime Minister of Aruba.
