he's a murderer from a very famous family of criminals.

Charles Manson, born to a teenaged prostitute, did not come from a famous family of criminals. His "family" were young people he picked up from San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury all the way to the Mexican border. They lived together as more or less a cult and called themselves 'the family' with Manson the head guru.

Manson, a career criminal, in and out of prison at least 1/2 of his life, was upset over a failed music career and life in general. So he sent some of his chums from the 'family' on a 2 night killing spree that left at least 8 people dead, one an unborn baby.

To make a long story short, Manson got caught, he got a fair trial (not in his opinion) was sentensed to death, which was later commuted to life, and he now sits the remainder of his life in a tiny cell, separated from the general prison population, going a little more 'batty' every day.
