Eric is a viking
The vikings were not a single entity. A viking was simply a trader/raider. They could have belonged to any Scandinavian country. From Iceland to Sweden and anywhere in between. So, they were not led by any one person. They weren't an army of any sort. Just traders who sometimes raided the easy targets. Also bear in mind, not everyone who lived during the viking age was a viking. They were mostly farmers. However, to answer the question, the "leader" of the Vikings in 1000 on the voyage to Greenland was "Eric the Red". On the voyage to North America, it was "led" by "Leif Ericson".
The Viking program was a pair of probes launched in 1975, Viking I and Viking II, which were both sent to land on Mars. They ran a series of experiments while on the planet, Viking I operated for just over 3 and a half years until it suffered battery failure. Viking II operated for just over six years, unfortunately human error caused its antenna to stop working, and it could no longer communicate.
The Viking Challenge is all about mud runs, an annual event. Their is the Viking Challenge 5K and the Viking Crusade 10K extreme wilderness mud runs. These runs are held in the beautiful hills of Otter Tail County, MN, just 12 miles north of Fergus Falls.

You can find the Viking Helmet in the Random Store & More or in the Stylin' Shop. Also, Chuck has a request: Where, you can just ask Marcus (the guy who runs the Random Store & More), for one.
