In the Indian Parliament, the Speaker can be removed through a process called impeachment. This requires a motion to be introduced in either House, which must be supported by at least 50 members. The motion is then debated and must be passed by a majority in both Houses of Parliament. Additionally, the Speaker can resign or choose to step down voluntarily.
