Howl, or Howell Jenkins (his birth name), is a 27-year old wizard who gave Califer a heart, when he was young, so he can continue living because he felt sorry for him, and in return, Califer, years later, agrees to heat and power Howl's castle. He is the boy that has blond hair, but later it becomes black.

it sounds like a Miyazaki film perhaps Spirited away, Kikis Delivery Service, or Howls Moving Castle, maybe even Castle in the sky.n Its kinda the basic plot for all of his movies. So just search for hayao Miyazaki on Google if its not one of those four

yes
In the book "Howl's Moving Castle" by Diana Wynne Jones, Sophie doesn't destroy Howl's castle. Instead, she helps Howl regain control of his castle and break the curse that has been placed on him. Sophie's actions ultimately lead to the restoration of Howl's true form and the resolution of the conflicts within the story.
I don't think there is a release date yet for a US blu-ray. But if you are ok with subtitles there was a blu-ray released in Japan that you can currently buy on Amazon.
The climax of "Howl's Moving Castle" in the book is when Sophie confronts the Witch of the Waste in the final battle, breaking the curse on Howl and Calcifer and ultimately defeating the witch. This leads to a resolution where Sophie and Howl's love for each other is finally acknowledged and they are able to live happily ever after.
Well, probably not, because it was based on a book that is not a series. If you liked howl's moving castle, you could always read the book. Or if you don't feel like reading, you could watch the other movies by hayao miyazaki (if I spelled that right) like Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, My Neighbor Totoro, ect.WHAT!? Howl's Moving Castle is a book in a series! The author of Howl's Moving Castle, Diana Wynne Jones, wrote two other books, 'Castle in the Air' and 'House of many Ways'.
