Its been a long time scince I read but I know that Machi is part of the Student Councel along with Yuki . I have the feeling that its the girl Yuki falls in love with or the anoying guy with black hair.
Correct, it`s the girl on the Student Council for whom Yuki falls. Machi is actually Kakeru-san`s (that would be the annoying black-haired guy!!) half - sister, and so Yuki meets Machi through his friendship with Kakeru.
