Melzar the Mad is a fictional, non-playable character from the online game, RuneScape. His homeland, the one prosperous island of Crandor was brought to ruin by Elvarg, the dragon. As one of the few survivors, Melzar moved to Rimmington where he spent his days engrossed in dangerous experiments of Necromancy in an attempt to raise his fallen comrades. Failure, however, eventually damaged his brain, driving him insane.
The player is required to visit Melzar's Maze as part of the Dragon Slayer quest, in order to obtain one of the three pieces of Crandor's only map.

How do you get though Melzar's Maze in Runescape without dying?
Bring lots of high health food, like lobster or swordfish. The kill certain monsters to get the keys for each door, you must go through the right door or you will be sent back, melzar is actually easy to kill. It is his lesser demon at the end you have to look out for. I think the demon is weaker than normal as I killed him at about level forty and my level 70 now struggles with demons in the wild. Be sure to check other guilds and use quest help for any remaining questions you have.
