The OR Trader is a method to trade the ES Mini Futures. In general Opening Range Trading is a method by which you calculate the prices above which you want to be long and the prices below which you want to be short.

I hear complaints all the time from traders who say "Oh, I tried opening range trading and it didn't work for me".

That's because the opening range is not enough.

Here at the O.R. Trader, in addition to the opening range we also use a pivot range from the prior day's trading to help us develop a bias going into the next day. This increases our odds of taking only the most profitable signals.

Here at the O.R. Trader we like to say "Pivot Range + Opening Range = Clarity.
