Who is Oliver Twist apprenticed to when he leaves the workhouse?

He began life in a Baby Farm, where he was kept until about eight years old, when he was taken by Mr. Bumble to the workhouse. From there, he lives with the undertaker's family, the Sowerberrys, for a brief period, then runs away to London. While in London, he lives with Fagin, Mr. Brownlow, and Mrs. and Miss Maylie. He's still a child at the end of the book, so technically isn't finished growing up.

He had some schooling, in order to be able to read The Bible, he attended some religious services, and he probably began work around the age of 5, as children used to during those days. He did some manual work, on the premises, at he must have had to work for at least 14 hours a day.

He didn't go to school however he went to a workhouse which is where orphans or people who can't support them selfs go to work. They earn there keep by working.they get free food but the food wasn't good and often people had to eat flesh of animals to stay alive
