Who is Rikku in Final Fantasy X?

Rikku is a playable character, she is the second joinable character you meet, but her ship is destroyed by Sin and she turns up again about halfway through the game. Her signature technique is Mix which lets you combine two items to create different effects. To augment this she starts with the Steal and Use commands to take items from enemies and use them in battle, in a different way to regular consumables. She is an Al Bhed, a scattered people, the remnants of a high tech civilisation. She also turns out to be Yuna's cousin, as Yuna's unnamed mother is the sister of Cid, Rikku's father.
