Augustus Rookwood is Voldemort's spy in the Department of Mysteries in the Ministry of Magic. He was caught and sent to Azkaban after Igor Karkaroff (an ex-Voldemort supporter) revealed Rookwood's identity to a former Wizengamot to free himself from Azkaban. Rookwood killed Fred Weasley in the Battle of Hogwarts in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
He wasn't killed by Voldemort, but it is Voldemort's war, after all. He was killed in the Battle of Hogwarts by an explosion caused by Death Eater Augustus Rookwood.
