Their further friendship was left unknown.

No. Spyro is a rare purple dragon: he can use fire, electricity, ice, earth, fury-powers, and (in the first two LOS games) time. Cynder is a unique black dragon: she can use poison, fear, wind, and (my favorite element) shadow.

For people who don't know about Cynder, she used to be Spyro's evil enemy (in the past, Cynder has tryed to kill spyro, by being controlled by the Dark Master, Malefor)... But now has been saved by Spyro and now are friends who work together as a team. Not forgetting Sparx of course. Sparx is a dragonfly and Spyro's best friend. So there are many new features and gameplay options to this fantastic new version of the Spyro series. I would highly recommend this as the best spyro game yet!My opinion (for best Spyro game) is Spyro: Year of the Dragon... that's really the best Spyro game yet... for PlayStation 1, at least.
