Most of the names in kingdom hearts are Japanese words
Sora - Sky
Riku - Earth
Kairi - agony of separation (kinda poetic, huh?)
and all of the nobody's names are just their original self's name plus an x and rearrange (axel's name was lea, saix's name was isa, xemnas' name was ansem)
and most of the names of their original self's have no meaning in Japanese (which leads to the conclusion that they don't mean ANYTHING at all, because Square-Enix is a Japanese company)

∙ 10y ago- if roxas is sora nobody. then ventus should be roxas nobody because roxas and ventus does look alike. i know you saying ventus heart was never takeing and that true, but was roxas heart taking that what you have to think about.

Well it depends on where you are in the story. At the start when you are Roxas you will change into Sora, or if you die there is a small chance that you play as king mikey. Other than that there is NO switching people.

Roxas and Ven are the same people, at the end of birth by sleep Ven asked Sora if he could keep his heart in Sora. So throughout all the other kingdom hearts games that Sora was in Ven was inside of him (just like Kairi in the first game). when he became a heartless, and a nobody ven's heart became Roxas.

Although it is a little fishy how Sora had recognized that picture of a castle in the first KH at Tarzan's world. Could that have been Kingdom Hearts? It certainly wasn't Hollow Bastion or Destiny Islands. ;)
