Yes, Stonefur did not have kits of his own. He devoted his life to serving his Clan as a loyal warrior and later as deputy of RiverClan.

How did Stonefur die?
Stonefur was killed by Tigerstar in the battle between RiverClan and WindClan at the end of "A Dangerous Path." Tigerstar ordered Stonefur's execution as a display of power and to manipulate the outcome of the battle. Stonefur's death was a tragic moment in the Warriors series.

Crowfeather, and, obviously not in the same way, Graystripe, Crookedstar, Silverstream, and Stormfur. And of course, Stonefur, Mistyfoot, and probably Bluestar and Oakheart. Why? Why what? Why do Stonefur, Mistyfoot, Bluestar, and Oakheart like her......or did the answerer mean just like, not like like?? Because Mistyfoot was her mentor, Stonefur was Mistyfoot's brother, Bluestar and Oakheart were Stonefur and Mistyfoot's parents-chain reaction! I would say Crowfeather too.
Does stonefur die in the warriors series?
Yes, he does. Tigerstar orders Stonefur to kill Graystripe's kits and Stonefur refuses, then Tigerstar orders Darkstripe to kill him, but Darkstripe is defeated, so he gets the help of Blackfoot and they kill him. This happens in "The Darkest Hour", the last book of the first series.
