In Yoshi: Dead Space, The Lord is a supernatural space being created by Mewthree X 50 years ago with his and Bowser's DNA codes. The Lord escaped immediately after he was brought out of his cloning chamber, thanks to Pokemon scientists who released him after investigating. He ended up flying to space and using his special multiplying powers to create "demons", as Yoshi and the gang calls them, to hunt Yoshi and the rest down for killing both of his "fathers" (Mewthree X and Bowser) and destroy the Space Emerald and the world. He is said to kill Tucker in Dead Space, but many think that Tucker cheated death because of his heroism and got the gift of immortality until he chooses to die.

There is a secret project that the author is doing. It is an unfinished book called Yoshi: Deep Space. Unfortunately, a wrong turn sends them spiraling into a black hole that transports them deeper in space than they need to be. Now, they have been stranded on a comet for over a year while a new evil master, called The Lord, and his minions are hunting them all down. One of the characters is said to be killed by The Lord and Tucker is said to find them at the end of the book. I will give you all feedback on when the book is done and the other Yoshi books that will or will not be coming out.

If you are good at the game, you should be able to find the black and white Yoshi's who are also playable. For proof that there is no purple Yoshi, check the end scene when you finish the game. You see all of the Yoshi's that you have jumping around the tree with two spaces. Black and White fill that space.
