If you want to know the most famous philsopher of China that made many extraordianry proverbs that we still use today, that would be Confucius. Confucius developed Confucianism and had many students. They wrote a book about him after he died called the Analects. Many agrue about some of the sayings, doubting if they are his. Anyway, Confucius was peaceful and calm and had great proverbs!
