Pakku. Not Katara.
There is no such thing as waterbending. It is NOT real, but made up. People can NOT do this.
No. waterbending is not real. However, the moves are based on a real martial art called Tai Chi.

It symbolizes that he is a master airbender.
water bending..................... ha you have to be kidding right like from avatar fat chance there is no such thing
It was made up, so you aren't going to find serious sites on it. "Waterbending" is fictional, BUT the real-world martial art that is the basis for "Waterbending" isn't. "Waterbending" is based off of Ku-style Tai Chi. Ku-style Tai Chi is passed down from the Ku Yu Cheong lineage.
i dont think she cared it was a disguise
Aang first starts learning waterbending in Book 1: Water, specifically in the episode titled "The Southern Air Temple." Katara teaches him some basic techniques while they are searching for the waterbending scroll.
There quite possibly is. That is not to say that it is real. Firebending, airbending, waterbending et al., are made up and created by special effects. They are not possible in reality.
No one knows. that information was never given out, except for Toph's last name.
The style is Ku style/Yang form, Sun style Tai Chi, and Yoga. There is one website for Ku style and a few websites for Sun style. There are several websites for Yoga.
