Partial molar property and its applications?

Partial molar properties are useful thermodynamic properties because their molar average equals the property itself. In this article, we present a description of partial properties in general, and we show that for many partial properties, partial molar properties being a subset, the property is a molar average of the partial properties. Although partial molar properties remain the most useful, several of the other partial properties could have practical applications. © 2009 American Institute of Chemical Engineers AIChE J, 2009

What is the difference between partial molal quantities and partial molar quantities?

During the determination of the partial molal quantities the weight of the solution to which a substance is added is taken into consideration while in case of the partial molar quantity the volume is taken into consideration.

Do they make a partial for one back molar tooth?

no

Why shouldn't you use an IUD after a molar pregnancy?

risk of uterine perforation

What is difference between partial molar volume and specific volume?

No. Specific volume is the inverse of density. Molar volume specific volume divided by mols. (i.e. g/(mLxMols)

Yolk sac with no baby with hcg level of 8000?

Could possibly be a case of a complete molar/partial molar pregnancy. With a complete molar there will be no baby and the hcg levels rise very rapidly and can get to a very high number. With partial molar, there will be a baby but the tissues began to grow and the pregnancy is no viable. The fetus will stop growing and the tissues will continue to grow and the hcg levels continue to rise at a rapid pace as well. This will require a d&c and hcg levels must be monitored after until they reach zero. This could take some time and in some cases further treatment is needed.

Is partial molar property is extensive or intensive propert?

It is intensive property...it doesnt depend upon size of system, but only the chemical nature of mixture or solution at given temperature and pressure..

What is an Raoult's law?

The total vapour pressure of a solution is dependent on the partial pressures of the components and on the concentrations of these components:p = pAxA + pBxB+...where:p- total vapour pressurepA, pB- partial pressure of componentsxA, xB- molar fractions of components

What is the partial pressure of carbon dioxide in a container that holds 5 moles of carbon dioxide 3 moles of nitrogen and 1 mole of hydrogen and has a total pressure of 1.05 ATM?

I presume that molar mass is needed n = pV/RT = 1 atm x 0.250 L/ 0.08206 x 273 K= 0.0112 molar mass = 2.50/ 0.0112 =224 g/mol total moles = 5.0 3.5 / 5.0 = partial pressure CO2 / 7.0 partial pressure CO2 = 4.9 atm Goodluck from michigan tech - Charlesworth sucks

What is molar conductivity at infinite dilution?

Molar conductivity at infinite dilution is when molar conductivity is limited. Molar conductivity is when electrolyte conductivity is divided by molar concentration.

What is the molar mass of SiC?

Molar Mass of Carbon + Molar Mass of Silicon = Molar Mass of SiC. 12.0107 + 28.0855 = 40.0962 g / mol.

If you know the molar masses of the reactants in a chemical reaction can you determine the molar masses of the products?

If you know know the molar masses of the reactants in a chemical reaction you can determine the molar masses of the products because the combined molar masses of the reactants equals the combined molar masses of the products.
